Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Complete Dream Remodeling ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our website completedreamremodeling.com (the "Website") and construction/remodeling services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing our Website or engaging our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Website or Services.

Services Provided

We provide residential and commercial construction and remodeling services, including but not limited to:

  • Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
  • Home additions and renovations
  • Interior and exterior repairs
  • General contracting services
  • Design consultation and project planning

The specific scope of work for each project will be detailed in a separate written contract or proposal.

Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into binding contracts to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Estimates and Quotes

Initial Estimates:

  • Estimates provided are approximate and based on the information provided to us
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance
  • Final costs may vary based on actual conditions discovered during work
  • Site visits and detailed inspections may reveal additional work requirements

Written Proposals:

  • Detailed proposals will be provided in writing before work begins
  • Proposals include scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing
  • Changes to the scope of work require written authorization and may affect pricing
  • Proposals expire if not accepted within the specified timeframe

Contracts and Change Orders

Project Contract:

  • A formal written contract will be executed before work begins
  • The contract specifies all work to be performed, materials, timeline, and payment terms
  • Both parties must sign the contract for it to be valid
  • The contract supersedes any prior verbal agreements

Change Orders:

  • Any modifications to the original contract must be documented in writing
  • Change orders must be signed by both parties before additional work proceeds
  • Changes may affect project timeline and total cost
  • We reserve the right to refuse change order requests that compromise project integrity

Payment Terms

Payment Schedule:

  • Payment terms will be specified in your project contract
  • Typical payment structure includes: deposit, progress payments, and final payment
  • Deposit is typically 10-30% of total project cost (as permitted by state law)
  • Progress payments are due upon completion of specified project milestones
  • Final payment is due upon substantial completion and your approval

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Check, cash, credit card, or electronic bank transfer
  • Credit card payments may be subject to processing fees
  • Payment is considered received when funds clear our account

Late Payments:

  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges (or maximum allowed by law)
  • Work may be suspended if payments are not received according to the agreed schedule
  • Continued non-payment may result in contract termination and lien filing

Licenses, Permits, and Inspections

  • We hold all required state and local contractor licenses
  • We will obtain necessary building permits as specified in the contract
  • Permit costs are typically included in project pricing (unless otherwise stated)
  • The Client is responsible for any homeowner association (HOA) approvals
  • Work will be performed in compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
  • Required inspections will be scheduled and coordinated as needed

Project Timeline

  • Project start and completion dates will be specified in your contract
  • Timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, or unforeseen conditions
  • We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the specified timeframe
  • Delays caused by Client changes, delayed approvals, or site access issues may extend the timeline
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) may necessitate schedule adjustments

Warranty and Guarantees

Our Warranty:

  • We warranty our workmanship from project completion
  • Warranty covers defects in workmanship and installation
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or lack of maintenance
  • Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment are separate and provided by manufacturers

Warranty Claims:

  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period
  • We will inspect reported issues and make necessary repairs at no charge if covered
  • Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Client

Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and project requirements
  • Ensure clear access to work areas and adequate parking for crew and equipment
  • Remove or protect personal belongings in work areas
  • Secure pets during work hours
  • Provide utilities (water, electricity) necessary for the work
  • Make timely decisions on selections and approvals to avoid project delays
  • Notify us immediately of any concerns or issues during the project
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule

Insurance

We maintain the following insurance coverage:

  • General liability insurance
  • Workers' compensation insurance (as required by law)

Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request.

Termination

By Client:

  • You may terminate the contract by providing written notice
  • You will be responsible for payment for all work completed and materials purchased
  • Termination fees may apply as specified in the contract

By Company:

  • We may terminate the contract for non-payment, unsafe site conditions, or Client breach
  • We will provide written notice of termination
  • You will be invoiced for all work completed to date

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

  • The parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, the parties may pursue mediation before litigation
  • Disputes will be resolved under the laws of Oklahoma
  • Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Oklahoma
  • The prevailing party in any legal action may be entitled to attorney's fees

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with our work or crew members
  • Make unauthorized modifications to work in progress
  • Request work that violates building codes or regulations
  • Withhold payment for work completed satisfactorily
  • Make false or misleading statements about our company

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our Website with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Existing project contracts will be governed by the Terms in effect when the contract was signed.
